We spearhead the adoption of Green Building Design in the region.
ALAMA Architecture is a Tanzanian architectural design firm. The firm operates in accordance with the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Act No.16 of 1997, the by-laws of 2000 and the Companies Act of 2002.
With a team of experienced and enthusiastic design professionals, ALAMA handles a broad scope of assignments including interior design and project management. Our work is done with meticulous attention to our clients’ requirements, the site, contextual and environmental factors.

Identity
Established in 2010 as VK Green Architects Ltd., renamed ALAMA in July 2020 to emphasize a Tanzanian Swahili identity fused with 21st-century ingenuity.
Our designs center on the connection between design aesthetics and the environmental, cultural and economic context. We use sustainable systems to create dynamic structures that enhance both the natural and built environments. We keep up to date with the latest tools in computer-aided design and building information management to allow smooth workflows with other consultants.
