VK Green Architects ltd. Alama is a Swahili word meaning ‘mark, sign, or symbol’.

We are a mark of excellent designs that are eye catching, environmentally friendly and leave a lasting positive impact on communities.

ABOUT ALAMA ARCHITECTURE
ALAMA Architecture was established in 2010 under the name VK Green Architects Ltd, later changed to ALAMA Architecture in July 2020 to emphasize a more Tanzanian Swahili identity fused with 21st Century ingenuity.

ALAMA is the mark of high quality, environmentally sound, innovate design solutions.

Our designs center on the connection between design esthetics and the environmental, cultural and economic context. We use sustainable systems to create dynamic structures that enhance both the natural and built environments.

Alama Architecture is committed to enhancing social justice by working with communities to spearhead projects building adequate shelter in poor communities. Alamas’s goal is to provide a path for integration and social acceptance, inclusiveness and sustainable living.
