Doreen Fred is a registered Interior Designer with the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Tanzania (AQRB) and a member of the Architects Association of Tanzania (AAT). She holds both master's and bachelor's degrees in interior design.
Alongside design and construction, Doreen works as an Assistant Lecturer at Ardhi University, keenly involved with dissertations, design studio and theory. She has joined the Tanzania Women in Construction Mentorship program, mentoring young women in the industry.
She believes in sustainable approaches to design, adaptive re-use and quality assurance.
